Synopsis
Feature film “Spirit” is a first work as director-producer of a famous English actor Joseph Fiennes who stuck in spectator’s memory by the part of young Shakespeare in John Madden’s “Shakespeare in Love”.
The dramatic events of the film throw back to distracting reminiscences of Alexey who saw his wife’s and little son’s execution. Since that time the film’s principal character leads solitary and almost secluded life which cannot but concerns his brother Sergey who managed to set up his life in a town.
Keeping a holy faith that his son managed to survive and hid in a forest Alexey lives in hope to find him someday. And Sergey is to make sure that Alexey cannot leave his really alive son as it turned out.
