Women’s Burden

Russian World Studios started principal photography of “Hen Party”, 8 episode drama series  with elements of a detective and a romantic comedy.

Former course-mates, Katya, Vika, Lyuba and Marusya meet frequently for a “hen party”, though already 15 years passed since their graduation from Moscow State University’s Department of Journalism.
A lot has changed since then, but not friendship.

Katya (Natalia Kurdyubova) is the only one among four friends who developed herself in journalism, Vika (Lyubov Tolkalina) and Lyuba (Elena Panova) have succeeded in business, while Marusya (Elvira Bolgova) became a “working housewife.”     

It happens so that once on the eve of such a “hen party” each of the four friends come with bad news…
Vika loses her child and parts with her boyfriend. Katya leaves her husband when she learns that he took advantage of her name and authority on TV. Lyuba who banished her extraordinary but coward Japanese husband two years ago experiences another disappointment in men. And patient and devoted Marusya takes her two little children and leaves her husband with whom she has lived over ten years…        

Will the friends manage to overcome all difficulties and forget their disappointments, so that  careless time will be back again?
