Russian-speaking TV viewers all over the world will see the continuation of “Ginger”!

A successful Russian World Studios’ TV-Series “Ginger” (171 episodes) broadcasted on CTC channel now proves its popularity in Israel as well. The project premiered on Channel 9/ Israel Plus on May 4, 2009. The show’s steadily high ratings (“Ginger” has been running in prime time for several months already) have inspired the Israeli partners to buy the TV-series’ continuation (131 episodes).

The channel was launched on November 12, 2002. Previously Hebrew-language Israeli TV channels broadcasted only individual news and entertainment shows in Russian. During the Second Lebanon War in July – August 2006 the channel started broadcasting on the Internet. In 2005 Israel Plus channel became available for the Russian-speaking communities in the USA, Canada and Australia, and in 2007 – in the Baltic States, Eastern Europe and the CIS. Israel Plus offers its Russian-speaking audience news, films and TV-series, current events, commentary, and entertainment shows for family viewing, which at the same time satisfy interests of various age groups.

Israeli audience that always gratefully welcomes the Russian World Studios’ productions is a special audience for the studio. The Ginger’s success is just another proof of this.
